Make sure you capture your passions and interests without cutting anything out. The ultra-wide angle lens provides you with a 160° angle of view for Full-HD movies and 170° for stills. The unique compact design means it’s extremely portable so you can carry it everywhere you go.
The innovative 6.8cm (2.7”) vari-angle LCD screen can be flipped out to the subject side or rear position, allowing you to see a live view of what you are filming. This makes the LEGRIA mini ideal for various shooting styles and perfect for putting yourself in the frame.
Get the perfect perspective for your movie with the unique built-in stand. Reducing the need for a tripod, the stand can be stowed away or pulled out as required, allowing the LEGRIA mini to be tilted up to a maximum of approximately 60°.
In addition to ultra-wide angle shooting, you can switch to close-up recording with a simple touch of the capacitive screen. This provides you with a more conventional look and feel to movie recording, by reducing the angle of view to 71°.
Built-in Wi-Fi functionality allows you to connect to your smartphone or tablet, offering a range of sharing options to showcase your footage to your audience. You can also control your LEGRIA mini via an android or iOS device, allowing you to see a live view image, with the options to start/stop recording and switch the angle of view.
Enjoy crystal clear Full HD recording and still images with Canon’s HS System. A 12.8MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV4 processing power ensures high resolution and low noise, whilst preventing over/under exposure even in high-contrast images.
Make your movies sound as good as they look. The LEGRIA mini is equipped with a high-quality stereo microphone and Audio Scene Select. So whether you’re recording a music performance or want to supress noise on a road trip, simply select from 5 scene types and audio settings are automatically adjusted.
Whether you’re shooting your movie straight on or upside down, detection orientation will automatically flip the footage the correct way up, giving you even more flexibility with shooting angles. Mirror image playback mode flips the footage horizontally, effective for technique review whether its dance or perfecting your golf swing.
Slow and fast motion recording allows you to slow the footage to a 1/4x or speed up to 4x. Interval recording allows you to create a time-lapse effect making your movies even more appealing. Express your creativity further with video snapshot mode, which creates bite sized movie clips after taking a still.
