MASTER THE MOMENT
From wildlife, reportage and portrait photography to filmmaking, interviewing and documentaries – the EOS R5 Mark II masters it all and lets you conquer your creative ambitions.
POWERFUL PERFORMANCE BUILT ON ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Whatever the story, the EOS R5 Mark II speaks your language. Shoot with breakneck speed and incredible resolution, and capture next-level video. All this from an agile camera body that inspires creativity from the moment you hold it.
45 megapixel back-illuminated stacked sensor
High-resolution photos and superb 8K 60p RAW video. This ultrafast, stacked sensor design minimises distortion in moving objects and allows blackout-free continuous shooting.
Tally lamp
A switchable red light on the front of the EOS R5 Mark II lets those in front of the camera know when you are shooting video.
RF lens mount
Designed to maximise lens-design possibilities, the RF lens mount allows for optical designs that were previously impossible, as well as more portable lenses that can be with you more often. EOS R5 Mark II uses a hybrid lens’s Iris Ring for both stills and video.
IN-CAMERA 8K RAW UP TO 60P
Use the full width of the EOS R5 Mark II’s sensor to shoot sensational 8K footage – rich in detail and crop-friendly during editing. 8K 60p Light RAW portrays moving subjects with silky smooth motion. 12-bit colour depth offers fine gradation and wide dynamic range.
Choose between 8K RAW footage, for the ultimate in post-production flexibility, or MP4 formats that fit perfectly with your workflow. You’ll also find the same XF-HEVC S/XF-AVC S formats that are used on our pro video cameras, and Clog2 and Clog3 for effective colour grading.
VERSATILITY IN VIDEO
Whatever your editing workflow, the EOS R5 Mark II fits in perfectly, able to shoot a variety of resolutions, frame rates and codecs.
CAPTURING IMPERCEPTIBLE MOMENTS IN TIME
Shoot 45-megapixel stills at a staggering 30 frames per second, freezing movement with a top electronic shutter speed of 1/32,000 sec.
